In the eastern end of Ano Asites, an old stone bridge leads to the Byzantine church of Saint Antonios, to the homonym gorge. The gorge is overgrow, and in its beginning the remains of two watermills are found. The church allocates a shaped courtyard that offers an amazing view. European Mountaineering Path E4 crosses the gorge.
